Everyone wants to be needed. I want to be needed. You want to be needed. And the truth is there are those in need. We all matter to someone. One of the ways we can make a difference is through serving and giving back to others.
This year Julie LaTerra Homes’ friends, family and partners engaged and gave to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program. Robert Thurman quoted it well when he said, “Generosity is more fun!”
The Marine Corps does an awesome job every year of giving back, giving more and giving through service to others. “This has been the best year ever!” exclaimed our Charlotte Marine as he picked up your many kind and thoughtful donations. The Charlotte community has done an outstanding job this year exceeding expectations set by the local Marine Corps. We’re thankful for the opportunity to come alongside this wonderful organization.
The truth is giving back makes you happy and makes you free! Thank you to all the big hearts that participated in this year’s Toys for Tots campaign. I’m smiling as I think of the happy smiling faces that will be opening your compassionate gifts this Christmas.
