Think of it as the PERFECT Color!In early December, Pantone, the global authority on color, announced the Color of the Year for 2009 – a beautiful yellow called “Mimosa”. Leatrice Eiseman, the executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, commented “…the color yellow exemplifies the warmth and nurturing quality of the sun, properties we as humans are naturally drawn to for reassurance.”
Because every color conveys some type of emotion, Mimosa is the perfect choice for 2009. Yellows are cheerful and upbeat, and it is a hue that sparks imagination and innovation. In this time of political change and economic uncertainty we are all looking for reassurance and hope. Adding Mimosa or any shade of yellow to your home will bring a warm and friendly feel to your space.
