All of our internships are flexible with regard to length of time and number of hours worked per week, which allows students to take classes while completing their internships. SALARY
Stipend Only
The planned internship stipend will be $1,000 upon completion of a 15-week internship. Further details will be given to those awarded a stipend.

THE ROLE
Interior Design/Architect is a stipend only Internship with Julie LaTerra Homes, a successful and fast growing custom home building company. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running assisting with client presentations, participating with design teams, and producing documents and tasks from design to construction.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Presentation boards.
Library resource updates.
Scheduling appointments with vendors.
Pulling new resources. Order samples and gather information.
Assist with material collaboration and presentation drawings. Find costs, lead time and availability of materials and products.
Record existing conditions, and code information required for each project.
Draft plans, elevations, sections and details using cad software. Accurate drawing/labeling/and dimensioning in Construction drawings.
Assist in maintenance of office resource library and material sample library.

QUALIFICATIONS
Great communication skills both oral and written. The goal is to bring customers into the design center and buy our homes.
Have expertise with CAD software and other graphical software packages.
Build physical architectural models or 3-D computers models as needed.
Strong graphic skills to develop brochure and updating website or other marketing tools.
Cheerful, upbeat, personable demeanor.
Ability to commit to working generally 10-20 hours per week.
Ability to work independently in a timely manner – don’t need to be told what to do, can keep yourself busy based on a task list.
